As the principal attorney at her own firm, Mary Madeline Roberts is dedicated to serving clients in the metropolitan New York City area. She focuses her practice primarily on business law matters, including advising entrepreneurs on the choice of legal entity for their start-up companies. Ms. Roberts also negotiates and prepares contracts, and she handles commercial litigation. Her clients include art galleries, theatrical and film production companies, publishers, and online businesses. She has vast experience advising all types of start-ups and business entities, as well as forming new business entities and managing corporate compliance and employment issues. As an undergraduate, Ms. Roberts attended Tufts University and in 2011 received a Bachelor of Arts in political science and art history summa cum laude, graduating with a 4.0 GPA in each major, respectively. During one summer in college, she was a financial analyst with an asset management company. Ms. Roberts then went on to attend the University of Chicago Law School and was awarded her Juris Doctor in 2014. While in law school, Ms. Roberts participated in the Kirkland & Ellis Corporate Lab, which enabled her to work on a variety of projects with multinational companies. She also served a summer clerkship with a New York City law firm. After graduation, Ms. Roberts was an investment banker with Credit Suisse Group, an associate with a New York City boutique law firm and then senior counsel with an international fashion company before founding her current firm. She is admitted to practice before all New York state courts.

In order to stay abreast of current developments in her fields of practice, Ms. Roberts is an active participant in a variety of legal organizations. A member of the New York State Bar Association, she is also a member of the New York City Bar Association and the New York County Lawyers' Association. Additionally, she is the head Business Law Liaison for the New York State Bar Association's Young Lawyer's Section. 

She has been published by such industry leaders as Marcum, LLP and has been featured as an Attorney Expert on Law Newz.
