Mr. Irvine opened his firm in 2014, after leaving Holland & Hart LLP, where he worked from 2006 – 2013. Prior to that, he held positions with the Arvada City Attorney; Gold Fields Exploration; the Bonneville Power Administration; and the U.S. Department of Justice, Environmental and Natural Resources Division. Mr. Irvine received his B.S. in Geological Sciences from the University of Notre Dame, his M.S. in Mineral Economics from the Colorado School of Mines and his J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School. He is active in the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation and the American Exploration and Mining Association, among other organizations, and frequently presents on environmental and natural resources topics.
Mr. Irvine is admitted to practice law in federal and state courts in Colorado and Wyoming; the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit; the U.S. Court of Federal Claims; and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
